Scope of Works
The Old Tenby Lifeboat Conversion - A Grand Design
Winters secured the contract to complete the design and installation of the electrical installation for this prestigious project. Soon to be featured on TV's Grand Designs. Central to the lighting design is a PFX Futronix lighting control system, this allows for mood/scene setting and greater control of fittings within the property. The lighting scheme proved very challenging as they could not be located in the arched ceiling/roof structure. Wall mounted up-lighting was used to light the ceiling lines, supplemented by LED's located in the floor, skirting's and stairs.
All services to the property had to be newly supplied from the land side of the entrance bridge, as none of the supply authorities would provide direct connection to the boathouse. A three phase electrical supply had to be installed at the property to serve the winch motor, that will be used to pull a motor boat onto the slipway, also supply the new sewage system that had to be installed.
Winters works also included the installation of a security system, the power supply and cabling for the heating controls, the complete wiring and control installation for the electric skylights also the cabling and controls for the Priva Lite system (glass that can be switched between Clear and Opaque)
